MegaFon to cut prices for clients visiting Crimea from Mar 12

MOSCOW, Mar 2 (PRIME) -- Russian mobile operator MegaFon will reduce some tariffs for visits to Crimea and Sevastopol from March 12, the company said on Friday on its website.

Incoming calls from the Crimean numbers will be free and from other regions will amount to 2 rubles per minute. Outgoing calls to numbers of all operators will cost 3 rubles per minute. An SMS will cost 2 rubles, and 1 megabyte of traffic will cost 2.2 rubles.

The country’s other big mobile operators – MTS, VimpelCom, and T2 RTK Holding – have already cut prices for connection during trips to Crimea and Sevastopol following the antitrust service’s policy to abolish national roaming.
